KIND WORDS FROM OUR COLLABORATORS

Full Circle Construction is a very professional, personal company. We worked with other companies in the past that have rushed to get the work done and, in the process, neglected very important details. Full Circle truly does represent it's name well in that they take your project from start to finish with professionalism and care. They take into consideration your budget and make it work, without sacrificing quality. We had some structural issues in our old Victorian home and they worked hard to find a low cost, yet solid solution to our problem. Curt, the owner, works very hard to be sure you are happy with the project before they call it "done" and that is something we don't see very often.

I just had a very nice consultation with Curtis Irmiger of Full Circle Construction. I'm pulling together estimates for a home we may purchase--so I don't know whether we'll be able to hire him, but would strongly consider doing so. He's a practical guy with an unhurried manner, who has plenty of experience and a real feel for what's being asked. He was able to answer my questions very clearly, from direct experience rather than speaking off the cuff. I'm confident that he'd provide honest, high-quality craftsmanship. Moreover, he seems like someone who could neatly avoid the budget and communication problems that can turn a project into a roller-coaster. Liked him immediately!Read More

I have used Full Circle construction for over the past 12 years ranging in small projects (replace windows) to bathroom/kitchen remodels to a large addition involving excavation and adding a 2 story addition. From small to large projects, Curt has demonstrated fine craftsmanship and focus to detail. We have lived in older houses and this is were Curt and his team excel in being able remodel to a more modern function but keep with the existing style and wood work. He has the ability to understand the homeowners vision of a remodel and conceptualize that into reality, making suggestion and modifications along the way or we have utilized an architect (Rehkamp /Larson) for our large additions and Curt worked closely with them to interpret the sketches/blue prints into a reality. Not an easy task as I learned. His bids fall within the mid range but from our experience, the extra focus on detail and craftsmanship is well worth it. Furthermore, working with a one person contractor, you communicate directly with the person who is doing the work so there is little miscommunication. He also has developed a close relationship with several sub contractors that work well together. This is important for older homes that may require a more specialized craftsmanship (masonry, wood floors, stucco) that he can sub contract with rather than using a large construction companies "standard" employers. He stays on budget within the usual 10% margin of the estimate and again, with him on site daily, you are updated of any unforeseen expenses that may arise. Also, with him on site, you engage in a more personal process and as the project develops, any modification that he or you may suggest can be easily made. In addition, Curt is aware of the stress that remodels can have on a family and tries to work around your time schedule. For our large addition, he built a temporary kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer) in our living room and even hired a cleaning person to dust and vacuum each week to keep our sanity !Read More

General: Re-finished a sunroom and bedroom that were previously only three-seasons rooms. Also knocked down part of wall to create larger opening between sunroom and family room. Details: Extended HVAC into both rooms, installed foam & sound barrier insulation, electrical (including speaker connections, phone, cable), drywall (with cove ceiling to match existing), full replacement windows, re-finished wood floors, replaced tile of fireplace hearth, built wood step up into sunroom from family room, installed and finished trim to match existing, and painted walls. Noteworthy: Curt Irmiger and his team have an eye for detail; woodwork is especially of high quality. Takes pride in his work and is a true craftsman. Very pleased with process and outcome.Read More

demo and redo of kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Installation of in floor heating and gas fireplace with surround. It was a difficult job in an old house with many quirks. They were punctual, professional, delightful to have around, and very adept at finding solutions. The finished product is flawless and beautiful. I have already hired them again to gut and redo a bathroom. I would recommend them without reservation!Read More

Curt and his crew at Full Circle did an absolulely fabulous job for us in renovating the first floor of our 1970's townhouse. The quality of work was outsanding and everything looks beautiful. We made a number of additions as we worked on this project and Full Circle was not only accomodating but creative and thoughtful in determining how to do the things we wanted to have done. We cannot thank Full Circle enough for the fine work and look forward to working with them in the future.Read More

We are delighted with our new kitchen! Our design involved leaving very little wall space for displaying art work, but we consider our many cabinets works of art themselves. There were some rather unusual aspects of our kitchen remodel and Full Circle was able to meet those challenges perfectly. We chose to go with Full Circle Construction because we had seen and admired their quality work in the home of a neighbor's, they have an established relationship with our architect whom we trusted, and they provided a reasonable middle ground cost estimate. The final overall cost was not far off from that original rough estimate, even with the occasional "while you're at it". You couldn't ask for a more pleasant group of guys hanging around the house during the day. And at the end of the day, the space was often left far neater than I might have done!Read More

We did a new bathroom and some basement/attic work in 2009 or so and then a kitchen remodel in 2011 (completely gutted old kitchen and built custom cabinets etc. . .) and addition (mud room, bathroom, patio with firepit etc. . .) with Full Circle. Curt and his crew were respectful, hard working, and did excellent work. Moreover, I found Curt to be a person of integrity who consistently followed through on his word. And Curt and his staff went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with their work and dotted the "i"s and crossed the "t"s to finish off the smaller things as the project wrapped up. I can't say enough positive things about Full Circle and would be happy to chat with anyone who was considering hiring them to provide more details.Read More

I am an architect and I have worked with Full Circle Construction on a number of projects. They provide excellent end results - are easy to work with, knowledgeable, meet deadlines and always provided a great value for my clients.Read More

We have hired full Circle for two big jobs. Several years ago they gutted and finished our basement, adding a bath and a finished family room and laundry room. The job involved higher-end wood finishes including a built-in desk area. Last year we hired them for a complete re-do of the second floor of the house, which again involved a new bath, re-insulation of the entire roof, the addition of a dormer which turned raw attic space into a large office area, and new windows all around, and high-quality trim work all around. For both projects, they took pains to match existing millwork in our older home, which was important to us. Both jobs were executed well. Curt and his crew were always flexible, respectful and helpful, making changes during the course of the project and sometimes making their own suggestions. They kept the job site clean and picked-up between phases of both renovations.Read More
